Media Coverage
It is not that we carry more media, but that we know how each one should be bought
Every agency's media list looks about the same. The difference comes from knowing what is negotiable on each one, when to buy for better terms, and which products the brand actually needs.
The same channel plays a different role in every campaign
There is a familiar chart that sorts media into awareness channels and conversion channels. It is convenient, but not accurate. YouTube can be the channel that builds scale or the channel that carries the argument. Subway advertising can be routine repeat exposure, but own a whole line and it creates overwhelming awareness on its own. A channel's role is not set by the channel. It is set by the campaign's objective and how the channel is used.
So GrowBridge does not sort media into categories and pick from them. We define what this campaign has to solve first, then design the mix of channels and products for that objective again each time.
Below are the media GrowBridge deals with and runs directly. Read it as a set of options, not a list.
Linear TV & radio
Still the fastest way to build scale
Reach that takes weeks to accumulate in digital, TV builds in days. The problem is not that it is expensive. It is that buying it badly gets you half the impressions for the same money.
Media covered
- Terrestrial networks (KBS · MBC · SBS)
- General programming channels (JTBC · TV Chosun · Channel A · MBN)
- Cable program providers (tvN · KBS N · Channel S · MBC Plus · SBS Medianet · ENA, and others)
- Genre channels (sports · film · music · kids · documentary)
- Radio and digital audio (podcasts · music streaming)
Buying Point — Each media rep firm has its own booking structure and rate system. Terrestrial networks sell differently from general programming and cable channels, so we design a separate approach for each. The main negotiating levers are off-season booking and annual volume commitments to lock rates, program-specific placement, and bonus spots.
IPTV
TV reach and digital targeting at the same time
Set-top box data makes household-level targeting possible. Two viewers watching the same channel at the same time can be served different ads, so a national campaign and a targeted campaign can run within a single medium.
Media covered
- KT genie TV · SK Btv · LG U+ tv
- Cue-tone advertising (swapped by daypart and region)
- VOD pre-roll and mid-roll
- Home screen banners and search-linked products
- Addressable TV (household targeting)
Buying Point — Addressable products have no fixed standard rate yet, so there is real room to negotiate. What drives actual efficiency is how widely the targeting conditions can be set, the minimum spend, and the terms for using remnant inventory.
Digital advertising
The most used channel, and the one where structure makes the biggest difference
Anyone can run digital, which is exactly why structure matters. Whose name the account is in, how many layers sit in between, and whether you are connected to the platform directly all change what the same budget delivers.
Media covered
- Google / YouTube — Masthead, TrueView, YouTube Select, Performance Max, DV360
- Meta — Facebook · Instagram · Threads, rich media and Brand Lift products
- Naver — Main Timeboard · Special DA, search ads, Smart Channel, Brand Search
- Kakao — Biz Board, Kakao TV, channel messages, Moment
- Vertical apps — Toss, Karrot, delivery apps, and finance, commerce, and lifestyle app inventory
- Programmatic — Direct buying on open inventory and PMP deals
Buying Point — Direct platform partnerships mean no reseller in between. We run accounts in the brand's name so the data and the history stay with the brand, and we route platform support programs and new-product betas into the brand's terms.
For how programmatic is run, see Ad Tech / Programmatic Buying.
OTT advertising
Where you meet the viewers who left TV
As TV viewing time shrank, that reach moved to OTT. Unskippable full-screen exposure next to premium content makes it behave like TV, while targeting and measurement behave like digital.
Media covered
- Netflix (ad-supported tier)
- TVING · Wavve · Coupang Play · Disney+
- Korean and global FAST channels and CTV inventory
- Content sponsorships and branded content formats
Buying Point — Korea's OTT ad market is still forming, so rates and terms swing widely. Minimum spend, genre and title targeting, and the incentives offered to early advertisers are all negotiable. Of every channel here, this is the one where timing opens the widest gap in terms.
Out-of-home (OOH / DOOH)
Placing the brand along everyday routes
Put the brand on the commute, at home, and where people shop, and impressions accumulate with no extra effort. As the medium goes digital, buying is shifting from fixed periods to impressions, and the terms open to negotiation are growing with it.
Media covered
- LED screens — Large downtown screens and landmark DOOH
- Taxi advertising — Digital signage and exterior ads
- Bus advertising — Exterior wraps, interior digital signage, shelters
- Subway advertising — In-station media, platform screen doors, in-car
- Elevator advertising — Prime offices, residences, apartments
- Airport advertising — Arrival and departure halls, lounges, large banners
- Roadside billboards — Highways and major arterial roads
- Retail venues — Convenience stores, hypermarkets, department stores
- Other specialty media and event-linked placements
Buying Point — Out-of-home has the widest gap between rate card and actual price. The keys are buying direct from the media owner, using leftover periods and vacant inventory, bundling multiple sites into one negotiation, and locking rates with an annual contract. Every proposal follows a site visit and a check of real visibility.
KOL · influencers
For when the message has to come from a person, not an ad
Follower count is a measure of reach, not of persuasion. We select on target fit and actual response rate rather than size, and contract in a structure where the brand can see where its money goes.
Scope covered
- Mega · macro · micro influencer sourcing
- YouTube · Instagram · TikTok · Naver Blog
- Booking experts and industry KOLs
- Branded content planning and production management
- Content reuse (converting to ad creative and amplifying in paid media)
Buying Point — Sourcing directly cuts the middle margin, and we negotiate reuse rights into the contract at signing. Brands often produce strong content, find they cannot run it as ad creative, and pay again. Securing that right up front makes a real difference in cost.
Retail media
Where brand awareness turns into an actual purchase
The interest a brand campaign creates is ultimately confirmed at the moment of purchase. Retail media places the brand at the touchpoint just before that moment, and it is also one of the few points where you can confirm whether a campaign turned into actual sales.
Media covered
- Coupang (search and display ads)
- Naver Shopping and Shopping Live
- Major e-commerce platforms including 11st · SSG · Kurly
- Category specialists such as Olive Young
- Tie-ins with in-store media at offline retailers
Buying Point — Ad product structures and delivery logic differ sharply from platform to platform. We design the product mix and the bidding structure from operating experience, and align the brand campaign flight with retail exposure so search traffic carries through to purchase.
Buy channels separately and they stay separate
Run TV as TV and out-of-home as out-of-home, and you are left with impressions per channel but no view of the campaign's total reach. There is no way to tell whether one person saw all three channels or three different people were reached.
GrowBridge designs at the campaign level, not channel by channel. We calculate duplicated reach to estimate net reach, and align exposure across channels so frequency does not pile into one window. Reporting follows the same logic: campaign-wide reach and the change in the core metric, not a list of results per channel.
The media you run today can buy more on the same budget
Share the media and terms you are running now, and we will propose how much more exposure the same budget can secure.
